The procedures of this service are intended to support the performance of the representative of one of the parties to an arbitration or judicial proceeding, after the appointment by the Arbitrator or Judge of a technical professional, which we work together to compile duly justified forensic evidence, from a technical point of view.
Our office staff are involved, from the elaboration or revision of the (‘quesitos’ or ‘questions’) (‘quesitos’ are structured questions directed to the Expert in order to aid in the understanding of technical points), supporting the activities of the arbitral or judicial expert (delivery of documents, research of relevant focal points, elaboration of spreadsheets with data for clarification) and after delivery of the Forensics Report, Ribas Secco is responsible for producing a report on Technical Findings, where after the technical analysis performed by our team, may result in an agreement, a disagreement, or a mixed opinion. Each of these work phases are carried out in a timely manner, all within their respective legal deadlines.
This work allows, and sometimes contributes, to the forensic investigation to be carried out with integrity and impartiality – fundamental characteristics which are mandatory in all arbitration or judicial procedures.
